Jannelle Koszarek, Interim Executive Director

Jannelle Koszarek is a nonprofit leader and sustainability professional. Her work spans the sustainability spectrum to include a focus in food systems, sustainable agriculture, energy, policy and most recently environmental justice and building design. Quite frankly, there isn’t much she isn’t interested in. In addition to her work in sustainability, Jannelle serves on the Board of Fearless, Inc., a domestic violence advocacy and prevention organization in the Hudson Valley. Jannelle also serves on the Environmental Management Council for Ulster County, NY and as the Climate Smart Coordinator for the Town of Marlborough NY.

Jannelle spent most of her adult life in the Philadelphia area. She holds a BS in Environmental Sustainability from Philadelphia University and earned an executive MBA from Temple University. Before moving to the Hudson Valley, she spent several years living in Germany seizing the opportunity to travel Europe with her family and pets.

In her free time Jannelle enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, camping, kayaking, and most recently sailing. She continues her quest to find more hours in the day to fit it all in.
